Who we are

Katie Moore is the Director of Retail Product Training at Samsung Electronics America, located in Plano, Texas. She leads the Retail Training Team after service as both the Sr. Manager of Instructional Design and Sr. Manager for Training Strategy. In both roles, Katie was responsible for setting the direction of training materials for product launches and national training events.

Katie began her career in retail at Verizon Wireless, where she held multiple roles, including customer service, consumer education specialist, sales associate, store manager, trainer, and HRBP. She relocated to Texas in 2018 to become the Regional Training Manager for Sprint, where she developed a workshop that generated over $2.1M in incremental revenue for new product sales and eventually set the standard for retail training across the nation. After the Sprint/T-Mobile merger, she returned to sales as the T-Mobile for Business Dedicated Experts Team Manager, which reaffirmed her love of people leadership. She is a proven revenue driver who exceeds goals and targets, while driving organizational efficiency.

As a survivor of domestic abuse, Katie is incredibly passionate about empowering women to reach their potential. She volunteers career consulting services and interview practice sessions to women in need.

Katie holds a Bachelor’s in Music from LaGrange College, certificates in High Performance Leadership and Executive Leadership from Cornell University, and graduated with her Executive MBA in October, 2022.
